If you smartphone of choice is the Amazon Fire Phone or you just so happen to have a Kindle Fire laying around, than Microsoft has something for you. The Cloud-based note taking app, OneNote is now available in the Amazon Appstore for Android. Microsoft made sure to follow up on their promise of bringing OneNote to every device that matters to you. If you are not to familiar with OneNote, the app just doesn’t take notes for you and stores them into the cloud, the app seamlessly syncs all of your notes across every device you own with the app installed. So say you are taking notes in class or at a business meeting on your Kindle Fire, everything you take note of is stored in the cloud and can be accessed from any other device you own such as the Fire Phone. The idea isn’t original of course, but Microsoft is striving to make OneNote the best cloud-based note taking app available and on any device.
OneNote has been making its rounds through different environments. Microsoft has worked tirelessly to get OneNote on just about every platform available, as OneNote can be downloaded on Windows, Mac, Windows 8.1, Windows Phone, iOS, Android, and Symbian. Microsoft didn’t just make OneNote available for mobile handsets but also for the web too. Now that they have broadened their reach even more, the OneNote app is now available for Amazon devices. According to Microsoft’s blog post “We’re excited that people will be able to use OneNote on their brand new Fire phone and Kindle Fire, and we’re committed to improving the app with regular updates.”
Taking down thoughts, idea’s, or making to-do-list are now accessible for Amazon devices. OneNote is free to download and can also be used on Android phones and tablets running Android OS 4.0 and up.
