Alleged Galaxy Note 4 Cases Appear And Don't Match Previously Leaked Device

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 4 phablet is definitely on many people’s minds these days, considering Samsung’s IFA event is only about a week away. We’ve seen a ton of leaks when it comes to this device, from the leaked images, Samsung’s YouTube teasers and some rather crazy rumors to device’s renders and alleged specifications. Those leaked images looked rather good and many people thought they are legit, me included, though the latest leak says otherwise.

Accessory retailer in China has released cases for the Note 4 ahead of its launch and they don’t match up with the previously leaked images of the device. It is quite obvious this case isn’t meant to fit the leaked device (you can find both in the gallery below). Rear-facing camera is located on in the upper middle portion of the device, next to it you can find LED flash and a heart rate sensor, well the listed accessories tell a different story. These accessories have cutouts for all these in the upper middle portion of the device, not to mention they have a cutout for a rear-facing speaker, something that the leaked device doesn’t sport either. It seems like both LED flash and a heart rate sensor will be located below the camera. Of course, these accessories don’t have to be legit or anything, that’s up for you to decide.

Previously leaked device was actually good looking, it seemed like Samsung finally paid some attention to details. The back cover resembles the one on the OnePlus One and the trim is metallic (like the Galaxy Alpha’s), or at least it seems like it is. I for one actually liked that design, even though I don’t have any intention to buy the device (not much of a phablet guy). As I said, this doesn’t actually have to mean anything, but it’s enough to question the previous leaks. If leaked Antutu benchmarks are to be believed, Note 4 will sport a QHD (2560 x 1440) display, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It will come in two models, one will carry a Snapdragon 805 quad-core chip while the other is expected to sport Samsung’s very own Exynos 5433 octa-core chip. 16-megapixel ISOCELL camera is going to be located at the back with a 3-megapixel shooter on the front of the device.

I don’t know what to believe anymore and will gladly wait for Samsung to unveil this thing on September 3rd in Berlin. How about you, do you put faith in any of these rumors?
