Buy A Moto X Smartphone Until August 21st And You Get A Free Wood Back Cover

Motorola’s Moto X smartphone is a year old at this point and we’re seeing all kinds of discounts for this device. Motorola already teased the launch of its successor, Moto X+1, when they announced a press event for September 4th. Moto X+1 is expected to launch there along with the budget Moto G smartphone and a Moto 360 smartwatch. If you however don’t mind the fact Moto X is a year old at this point you can get it really cheap these days if you look hard enough, the phone is still very much a good device. Sporting a Motorola-tweaked X8 CPU which is in fact a good old Snapdragon S4 Pro which Motorola tweaked  to offer some great software features and a great battery life as well by separating its cores to do specific functions. The device is sporting 2GB of RAM, a 4.7-inch 720p (1280 x 720) AMOLED display and a 10-megapixel rear-facing camera alongside a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, amongst other specifications. Motorola has a great offer for those of you who intend to buy this phone in the next week or so.

If you decide to customize and purchase Moto X via Moto Maker from now until August 21st, you can get a wood cover for free. This will save you $25, considering that’s the usual price of it. You have 4 different wood cases at your disposal: Bamboo, Walnut, Ebony and Teak. Though the current price of the device is $349 this isn’t exactly such a great deal considering Moto X+1 is just around the corner, but if you really don’t mind having a bit older device this might be your chance. We do however believe another Moto X sale will come along before Motorola announces Moto X+1 on September 4th. As a side note, Moto X+1 is expected to sport a 5.2-inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera alongside a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, amongst other specifications. Though note this info comes from a leaked benchmark results, we won’t know for sure until Motorola unveils the device.
