EA Updates Madden NFL Mobile For The Newest Season Of Action On The Field

Football season is just around the corner, and right on time to match the release of the big brother console version, EA Mobile has just updated their Madden title for mobile to match the official launch of Madden 15 for consoles. Madden NFL Mobile offers a host of new features for sports and NFL fans looking to throw a hail mary on the go for that amazing touchdown. If you have been playing the mobile versions of madden for some time then you probably already knew about this update, and in that case you’re probably already playing it and not even reading this announcement about it. That’s OK, we wouldn’t expect otherwise.

Madden NFL Mobile is like every other Madden game, but also seemingly unlike any other Madden game as they state it was built exclusively for mobile from the ground up. You can expect to play online or against the AI like other Madden titles, and you can build up your team and become a dominating force in the NFL. Manage the team by choosing players collected by you, upgrade you team members and make plays that bewilder the mind. Madden NFL Mobile is free which means IAP, sadly, and since this is EA we can probably expect wait periods for upgrades  just like you find in Real Racing 3. How bad and how often is unknown.

The game features the ability to to play quick matches in what EA Mobile is calling quick offensive shootouts, but if you’d rather stick it out for the long haul you can play the full season which consists of 16 total games, with the goal at hand being to reach the Super Bowl and of course bring home the win right? You can challenge friends to a game as well, or just match up against other players. There are connections to the actual NFL too, so you can keep up on real live action happening from games and other events. In conjunction with that, there will also be real world daily challenges that you can earn rewards from, which is apparently happening throughout the entire NFL season. The on screen touch controls are said to be more improved, although I personally have no idea how bad they might have been before if at all, but EA says they’re improved which is something to be happy about as touch controls often get a bad rap from many mobile gamers. You can grab the game now from the Play Store if you’re ready to begin your climb to victory, or update if you already had the old version of the game installed.
