Oppo Set to Sell the Find 7 in India Exclusively Through Flipkart

The Indian smartphone market is a tough place to sell a phone, and that’s because competition is so high.  Much like China, entry-level to mid-range phones are all the rage in the country, and because of this getting a higher end phone is sometimes a bit of a challenge since many companies either don’t offer distribution in the country, like OnePlus for instance, or ink deals with stores to sell them exclusively through those places.  Oppo is joining that exclusive crowd with its flagship Find 7, and it’s selling the phone exclusively through Flipkart in India.  Starting immediately the Oppo Find 7 can be had for INR 37,990, and if that’s just too much to plunk down the rest of Oppo’s lineup will be available at Flipkart as well.  While Flipkart only exclusively sells the Find 7, the rest of Oppo’s lineup can also be found at Amazon India, bringing a little more competition to the smartphone game for those models.

But what if you want the high-end phone?  The Oppo Find 7 delivers in every single way, and is about the highest of high-end you can buy right now.  Announced back in March, Oppo ships two different versions of the device around the world, but Flipkarp is receiving the top-end one exclusively here.  The Find 7 features a Quad-HD 5.5-inch screen for some seriously incredible mobile viewing, with a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 inside and 3GB of RAM to power the experience.  32GB of internal storage should keep you from having to empty the phone for quite a while, and the 3,000 mAh battery will easily get you through a day with Oppo’s excellent software.  Oppo has also included a new feature called VOOC rapid charge, which charges the phone from 0% to 75% in just half an hour; something no other phone can really do.

Of course one of the biggest features of the Find 7 is the camera, which is a 13-megapixel Sony Exmor IMX214 sensor that’s found in phones like the OnePlus One and a few others, but Oppo has done something really special with the software here.  Creating some sort of hybrid mode, the Find 7 can create 50-megapixel images from this sensor by taking 10 images nearly instantly and stitching them together to create one massively detailed image.  There’s also super high quality audio that comes from the speakers, which tells you that this flagship is truly worth the price you pay.  If you’re interested here’s the White 32GB model and the Black 32GB model.
