Acer Announces the Iconia Tab 10 With Cinema Sound

IFA is nearly here and there will be a slew of devices to see at the event, but during the days prior(starting today)plenty of OEMs are going to be showing off their new gadgets and devices to give people ample time to take in the details about the new products before the big event starts and things get busy. Acer has announced their brand new Android tablet today, the Iconia Tab 10 with Cinema Sound and a screen that aims to bring users vivid colors for an excellent tablet experience. We’ll give you the details about this tablet down below and you can check a few of the images of the new device.

The most obvious specification is the screen size. The Acer Iconia Tab 10 comes with the 10-inch IPS FHD display with zero air gap, and is paired nicely with two stereo speakers with Dolby Digital  plus to deliver a quality viewing experience for anyone using the tablet to engage in media related functions, like watching movies or videos on YouTube. Users should also appreciate the sound quality during things like playing games where audio can become quite important. Acer’s and Dolby’s implementation of the Dolby Digital Plus boasts a reduction in background noise too, so the audio experience should be more rich across applications and able to be enjoyed more thoroughly.

The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and comes with wide viewing angles so if you’re sharing the use of the tablet with someone next to you, they can easily see the screen and share in the experience of whatever you’re doing. The Acer Iconia Tab 10, when launched which will be sometime this month, will be available to purchase in either white or black for the price of $199 or 199€. It runs the latest version of Android which is Android 4.4 kit kat, and comes with an HDMI port for wireless display connectivity. It also sports a quad-core processor from mediatek, although Acer was light on the details of exactly which processor that is. Unfortunately we also don’t have details on the included storage, RAM, or battery specifications at this time, but we’ll be sure to wrap those up for you in another post once we have them or just update here.
