Moto E Available On Republic Wireless For $99 From October

If you are looking for a cheap handset on a cheap network then look no further, Motorola’s Moto E is heading for Republic Wireless. The Moto E is is a budget device from Motorola but offering a decent level of specs for the cost. The Moto E offers 4.3″ screen with a 540 x 960 resolution (256 ppi). Inside the device you get 1 GB RAM, A Dual-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 processor and a 1980 mAh battery. In terms of storage the Moto E comes with 4 GB internal storage and a micro SD card slot (up to 32 GB) for all your additional storage. The device also offers a 5 MP rear camera and runs on 4.4 (KitKat). So overall, it’s not the Moto X, but certainly a good enough device for those looking for something light on the pocket.

For those of you unfamiliar with Republic Wireless they are a cost-focused US carrier which looks to offer its customers a cheaper alternative to the big carriers. Republic Wireless places a great emphasis on using WiFi to help drive the cost for users down. Now with the Moto E heading for Republic Wireless you can expect overall quite a good deal. The device will be available for $99. In terms of plans there are three main options on offer from Republic Wireless. First up is a WiFi only plan which offers unlimited talk, text and data (over WiFi) for only $5. The second option offers unlimited talk and text (over WiFi and Cell) and unlimited data (over WiFi) for $10. The last option is a 3G option which offers unlimited talk and text (over WiFi and Cell) and unlimited data (over WiFi and 3G) which will set you back $25 per month. Just so you know Republic Wireless do offer a 4G option for $40 per month but unfortunately the Moto E3 doesn’t come with 4G capability.

If you are interested, the Moto E will be available via Republic Wireless from October. However, If you are looking for something a little better, Republic Wireless are also offering the Moto G for $149 and the Moto X for £299 on the same plans as the Moto E. Both The Moto G and X are available now.
