Moto X (2014) Available from Verizon Beginning Tomorrow, Sept. 26th

Just as the rumors said, the Moto X (2014) will be available from Verizon beginning tomorrow. September 26th, you’ll be able to get your own Verizon branded Moto X straight from MotoMaker. You’ll be able to choose from four different leathers, four different wood options and a slew of other colored backs. We reviewed the Moto X earlier this month and really did like the device, even though it does have a couple of flaws. One being the battery. It’s a 2300mAh battery, and while it was able to get me through the day, it couldn’t do much more than that, so if you have a long day, you’ll want to charge it up.

Up until now, the Moto X (2014) was only available from AT&T or the unlocked version (which comes with a T-Mobile SIM card). The Moto X (2014) is going to cost $499 outright, or $99 on contract. Which is about half of what the other flagships are going for these days. The Moto X is a bit bigger than last years model. but if you get a chance to use one before buying it, I think you’ll like the size. As it is bigger, but it doesn’t really feel bigger. The Moto X features a 5.2-inch 1080p AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of storage, 2300mAh battery, 13MP camera on the back, 2MP front-facing shooter, front-facing speaker, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat. And it’ll get updates pretty quickly. In fact, Motorola wants to beat Google to pushing out Android L to the Nexus 5, like they did last year to the Nexus 4 with KitKat. So it can be done.
