"The New Moto X" Lands in Verizon Listing with MotoMaker and Bamboo

We’re inching closer and closer to the launch of the new Moto X, or the Moto X+1 depending on which leak you look at. Motorola is holding a nice shindig over in Chicago on Thursday, which we’ll be there for. We’ve been seeing tons of leaks for both the New Moto X, and the new Moto G. Both of which are expected to be announced this week, alongside the availability of the Moto 360.

This latest leak comes the way of a tipster to Phandroid. Which shows the internal computer system at Verizon which has four options for what is called “The New Moto X”. It appears to be available in black, white/bamboo, MotoMaker 16GB, and  MotoMaker 32GB. So it looks like there are four SKU’s for the Moto X, at least on Verizon.

The leak doesn’t tell us a whole lot, other than what we already knew. But that Verizon actually may have MotoMaker at launch. Which conflicts with recent rumors that AT&T got an exclusive on MotoMaker yet again. Which we were all hoping wasn’t true, as that was a big selling point for the Moto X last year, and giving a timed exclusive to a carrier isn’t going to help Motorola sell more devices. They sold plenty last year, about a 60% increase year over year, but there’s always room for more growth, especially when your market share is as small as Motorola’s is.

Either way, we’ll learn more later this week. As we are only days away from the Moto X+1/New Moto X becoming official. We will be there, so make sure you keep it locked to Android Headlines for all the details on the Moto X+1/New Moto X, Moto G and the Moto 360. As well as anything else Motorola may throw at us.
