Samsung Galaxy Note 4 To Launch In 140 Countries By The End Of October

Samsung has announced a bunch of new products at their IFA press event earlier this month, the most anticipated one was definitely their Galaxy Note 4 phablet which according to many didn’t disappoint this time around. Galaxy Note 4 pre-orders sold out in just three days in South Korea, as we reported yesterday. Today Samsung announced the device will be available to over there on September 26th. The rest of the world will get it starting in October and Samsung announced that the company plans to release the device in 140 countries by the end of next month, which is quite optimistic. Note 4 will be sold via AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular in US, at least the sales will start with these 5 carriers. Kudos to Samsung if they manage to pull off this massive release as planned. Apple has already sold over 10 million units of their iPhone 6 and 6 Plus devices and it is in Samsung’s interest to launch their phablet as soon as possible.

Galaxy Note 4 comes with a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) Super AMOLED display, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable via MicroSD card up to 128GB). This phablet comes in two processor versions (market dependent), either with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 quad-core chip clocked at 2.7GHz or Samsung’s very own Exynos 5433 octa-core processor (quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 and quad-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A57). On the back of this device, you can find a 16-megapixel OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) camera while there’s a 3.7-megapixel shooter located on the front of the device. 3220mAh battery is also included and the device comes with Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS with Samsung’s Revolving UX on top of it. 153.5 x 78.6 x 8.5mm are the device’s measurements and it weighs 176 grams.
