Samsung just announced the long-awaited Galaxy Note 4 phablet at their IFA event in Berlin. The device is sporting a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. 16-megapixel smart OIS camera is located at the back of the device along with the 3.7-megapixel shooter n the front which is capable of taking wide-angle selfies or as Samsung refers to it “welfies”. The device sports the same metallic finish as the Galaxy Alpha which Samsung announced recently, which means Samsung is moving away from plastic (polycarbonate) smartphones and if moving towards a more premium finish, Galaxy Alpha wasn’t an exception it seems. 3200mAh battery is here to make sure you don’t run out of battery alongside Samsung software features of course. One of the most important reasons why people buy Galaxy Note phones is the multitasking and a big part of that is the phablet’s “Multi-Window” mode. Samsung says that many consumers have been complaining this mode is difficult to find and activate, although I wouldn’t exactly agree with that but apparently some people didn’t even know about it… either way, you can now activate it by using the recents key. “Multi-Window” is a great feature for those of you who are multitasking a lot and one of the better features included in the Galaxy phones, Note included. You can pick an application and put it in a small window which will be located on a small part of your screen while you’re doing something else. Of course, you can simply drag it up / down and pin it so it runs side by side with whatever you were doing prior to opening that app. Of course, you can resize either of the windows when they’re both pined to the screen to suit your needs best. When combined with the S Pen featured of the Note 4, “Multi-Window” can be an extremely useful feature.
