64GB Mi4 Now Available to Order Directly from Xiaomi

Xiaomi news just keep on coming. We wrote recently that the 4G version of Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Redmi Note devices are available for purchase directly from Xiaomi, well, it seems like the 64GB version of Mi4 also joined that lineup. Chinese consumers can now book the 64GB version of Xiaomi’s flagship direct from the company for 2499 Yuan, which is a great offer no matter which way you look at it. The device will be available for purchase starting October 21st at noon (local time). As a side note, China Telecom version of this device does support 4G connectivity, while the China Unicom verison does not. Either way you spin this, Xiaomi Mi4 is a great device and those of you who live in China and have been wanting an Mi4 with more internal storage, you can book it now and get it on October 21st straight from Xiaomi.

Xiaomi Mi4 features a 5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 3GB of RAM and 16 or 64GB of non-expandable internal storage. As I’ve mentioned, the 4G version of the device is also available and the black version of Xiaomi Mi4 will be available starting October 28th, which has been confirmed by the company’s CEO. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz which comes with an Adreno 330 GPU for graphics processing. On the back of this device, you can find a 13-megapixel camera flanked by a dual-LED flash while there’s an 8-megapixel shooter located on the front. This device ships with a 3080mAh non-removable battery and Android 4.4.3 KitKat with Xiaomi’s MIUI 5.0 OS on top of it. 139.2 x 68.5 x 8.9mm are the device’s measurements and it weighs 149 grams.

About 70% of Xiaomi’s mobile sales in Q2 of this year were done over the internet, which definitely helps the company cut costs and no wonder they managed to accumulate 20% more profit this quarter compared to the last one. Xiaomi Mi4 is a great device and if we consider the price at which Xiaomi offers the device straight from its official webpage, it’s a steal. Unfortunately, this applies only for Chinese consumers, hopefully, Xiaomi will change that in the future.
