Xiaomi Mi 4

Xiaomi Mi 4 Information:

Xiaomi is a really well-known brand in China and they really do make extremely appealing devices. Xiaomi Mi 3 was a huge success and no wonder the company had high hopes for its successor. Mi 4 has been announced in July and it is available since August 2014. Many people actually call Xiaomi the Apple of China. Xiaomi Mi 4 carries some resemblance to the iPhone, no matter what people might say. That is actually a good thing, this device is well designed and sports a nice metallic trim around the device which gives it a good feel in the hand. Xiaomi Mi 4 is a spec beast as well.

This device features a 5-inch 1080p IPS LCD display along with 3GB of RAM and 16 or 64GB of non-expandable internal storage. The device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz which comes with an Adreno 330 GPU. Xiaomi Mi 4 comes with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a dual-LED flash while there's a 8-megapixel shooter located on the front of the device. Mi 4 comes with Android 4.4.3 KitKat pre-installed on top of which you'll find company's very own MIUI OS. Xiaomi measures 139.2 x 68.5 x 8.9mm and weighs 149 grams. We're talking about a 4G capable device here and the device ships with the usual array of sensors built-in. Non-removable 3080mAh battery is also a part of this package.

Xiaomi Mi 4 Editor Rating:

Xiaomi is definitely on the right path with its Mi flagship line. When you buy a Xiaomi Mi 4 you get a high-end device sporting great build quality and beastly specs for a rather affordable price, compared to flagship which are made by more known brands internationally. I can see this device appeal to many people and I can see myself recommending one to some of them. Xiaomi is even making progress with company's very own MIUI OS so that part of the device should be alright as well, even though it was working just fine thus far as well. If you want top-notch specs and you don't want to pay as much as other manufacturers are looking for their flagship devices, you might want to give Xiaomi Mi 4 a chance.
