It seems like Samsung’s upcoming line of Galaxy Alpha devices, the A3, the A5 and the A7 are inching their way to market and with a new link practically everyday it sure seems like they can’t be too far away at all. Today, there’s yet another leak this time from the East, Kazakhstan in fact, and it appears to show off pricing for a “Galaxy A5 duos LTE” which essentially says to us that this is a dual-SIM handset with yes, 4G capabilities. What else of this latest leak?
Well, there are a few specs listed by the flyer pictured above, but they’re not all that interesting. It essentially tells us that the Galaxy A5 is to come with a 1.2 Ghz quad-core CPU, a 13-megapixel camera and microSD card support. This is fairly standard stuff and it’s the price that most of us are interested in. At 99,990 Tenge the Galaxy A5 isn’t a cheap phone, at least when you convert it to US Dollars where it becomes about $550 and for those in Europe that’ll be about €435, now these prices aren’t exactly extortionate or anything, but for a device that doesn’t carry the same sort of firepower as the Galaxy S5 does, it seems a little bizarre that the price tag is so high. Still, the Galaxy Alpha was a pricey device, but there is a price needed to be paid for extra quality after all.
Elsewhere, we’re told that the Galaxy A5 packs in a 5-inch Super AMOLED display and we now know that it’ll measure 5.48″ x 2.74″ x 0.28″ (139.3 x 69.7 x 7 mm) and it’ll weigh just 120g. With a little more info of the Galaxy A5, it looks like Samsung is preparing a line of devices just in time for the Holiday Sales and launching a line of classy, good-looking devices certainly isn’t the worse idea that the company has had. The Galaxy Alpha has been lauded by critics and we’re sure that consumers love it as well, we just have to hope that Samsung is willing to price these a little more sensibly this time around. The question is though, would any of you buy a Galaxy Alpha device from this new upcoming line?
