TELUS Confirms the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for Oct 24

Earlier today, Samsung of Canada announced that the new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 would be making its way to Canada on October 24 – about seven days off the original October 17 date on their Facebook page.  TELUS has just confirmed that the Galaxy Note 4 will be available from them on October 24 in Charcoal Black and Frost White – although they gave no pricing as of yet…in fact, the page they sent is not even active…it simply says “Coming Soon” and shows the Black and White option.  So nothing there to get too excited about except for the fact that they confirmed that they will have the Galaxy Note 4 on October 24.

Just knowing that the Galaxy Note 4 is arriving on October 24 will have to be enough for now.  Besides the obvious improvements over the Galaxy Note 3 – while the display size did not change from 5.7-inches, it went from a Full HD to a QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.  Samsung wrapped it in a full metal frame with sculptured edges and a soft textured backing for added grip and an new elegant look. Samsung did not stop with just the surface – they made improvements with the battery and charging area, a new S-Pen with double the sensitivity to give you a true writing experience, as well as improved S-Pen software to make your S-Pen actually act like a mouse with drag and drop capabilities between different apps. Samsung also improved the Air Command to make it more user-friendly – Action Memo, Screen Write, Image Clip and Smart Collect.  There is a new feature called Snap Note where you take a picture of a note or anything, and it turns it into an editable S-Note – like scanning a document into your phone.

Another great feature of the Galaxy Note 4’s screen size and Samsung’s great software is the ability to seamlessly multitask, by using the Multi Window feature, with full, split or pop-up screens.  They also included a new 3.7MP 120-degree wide-angle lens so you can fit more into your Video Chats or Selfies.  The new main camera is now 16MP and includes Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for the first time. Please hit us up on our Google+ Page and let us know if you will be picking up your Samsung Galaxy Note 4 on TELUS or another carrier…as always, we would love to hear from you.
