Twitter Adds DM Tweeting
Twitter has just recently updated their app yesterday to now allow users the ability to tweet in Direct Messages. This gives users the ability to now share a tweet privately where prior to this update anytime you would retweet something it would become public. This new DM tweet capability allows for private conversations about specific tweets involving you and the person you send the message to. To start sharing tweets privately, just long press a specific tweet in the official Twitter app and select share via Direct Message.

If Swiftkey is your third party keyboard of choice, then this latest update might be music to your ears. It provides a brand new theme pack of 5 different keyboard themes which are all inspired by Material Design. Google Keep Gets Updated With note Sharing Feature
Google’s ever popular app for taking notes and syncing those notes across devices with the same connected Google account, called Google Keep, is letting users now share notes with friends and family members through the latest update. The update began rolling out a few days ago so you should already have gotten it or see it in your “my apps” list in the Play Store. In addition to sharing lists, you’ll be able to search for lists by color, just in case you have a ton of lists and notes saved in the app.

Security has become a huge thing in the past year and all the extra emphasis on security has gotten some users concerned about teh security in their favorite apps. Amazon App Gains Support For Android Wear And Lollipop
If you use the Amazon app to buy goods while you’re on the go, you’ll be happy to know that the app was just updated to support Android 5.0 Lollipop. On top of this, shopping through the Amazon application just became a little easier as the update also brought along support for Android Wear devices. You can now use your voice to search for products, or to add things to your Amazon wishlist all without having to pull out your smartphone.
Motorola Camera Gets New Timer Options In Latest Update
Motorola has updated their camera app again recently, bringing in some handy new features. The timer option now has the ability to be set for 3 seconds or 10 seconds, and you can now flip back and forth between front facing and read facing cameras with the double wrist flick gesture. You might also notice a little more inspiration from Material Design, which is to be expected now that Lollipop has officially released for a handful of different phones, the Moto X, and Moto G included.
Barnes and Noble Offers Free Audio Books With New Nook Audio Books App
If you like reading books but aren’t as keen so much on the reading part, Barnes and Noble is offering users a couple free audio books with the download of their new Nook application, which includes Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White, Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card, Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, The Heist by Janet Evanovich and Seabiscuit by Lauren Hillenbrand.
