Lenovo releases a ton of mid-range handsets each year. Company’s roadmap which leaked back in August revealed some of them, one of which was Lenovo Sisley, or called by its full name Lenovo Sisley S90. The device leaked last month and uncovered not only its looks but specifications as well. That being said, Lenovo just announced this handset, let’s check it out. Lenovo Sisley S90 is strongly influenced by iPhone 6’s design, Lenovo is not even trying to hide that, even the presentation is similar. Lenovo even used an identical wallpaper as Apple in one of those images as well as similar angles to take the shots, which is odd and… let’s leave it at odd, shall we.
Anyhow, Lenovo Sisley S90 features a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) Super AMOLED display, which is a rare thing to see outside of Samsung’s devices. This handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410, a 64-bit quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz which comes with an Adreno 306 GPU for graphics processing. This handset features 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It comes sporting dual-SIM connectivity and NFC is also a part of the package. 2300mAh battery ships with the device and Android 4.4.4 KitKat comes pre-installed. On the back of this handset you’ll find a 13-megapixel camera while there’s a 8-megapixel snapper on the front of the device.
This handset will land in China in Silver, Grey, Pink and Gold color options. The handset will be priced at 1,999 Yuan ($327). We don’t have any information when it comes to the exact release date of this device but I bet Lenovo will launch it this month in China and who knows if it will leave Asia at all, but hopefully we’ll get more information soon. Regarding the price, 1,999 Yuan is a bit steep for this handset, even in China. Let’s not forget we’re talking about a country where you can get a flagship handset for that amount of money, so I think Lenovo went too high with the price.
