Meizu MX4 Pro Box Leaks Along With The Alleged Pricing Of The Device

We’ve shared so many Meizu MX4 Pro leaks, rumors, reports, confirmations… I really don’t where to start quite frankly. Let’s start from the official stuff, Meizu’s employees confirmed that MX4 Pro will sport a fingerprint scanner below the screen which will double as a home button. Meizu’s CEO also confirmed that this handset will sport a 2K display as well. Another piece of information we have is that the device will launch on November 19th when Meizu is holding their press event, even though the company hasn’t specifically said that they’ll launch the device there, we’re quite certain they will because it is confirmed it’ll launch in November. Anyhow, we have a new leak to share with you, so, let’s get that out of the way.

Alleged Meizu MX4 Pro box leaked along with the pricing on it. If you take a look at the image above you’ll see the box itself along with the pricing for the 16 and 32GB models of the device while the handset is on there as well. According to this leak, 16GB version of the phone will cost 3199 Yuan (as previously rumored) which is around $522 while the 32GB version will cost 3499 Yuan ($571) according to this leak. These prices aren’t all that bad considering the specifications we’re about to get (more on that later), but they certainly are much higher than we thought at first. Rumors were saying that the device will cost around 2499 Yuan ($408) at first, not 3199 Yuan, which is a significant difference.

Talking about specifications, other than the fingerprint scanner below the 2K display, this handset is expected to sport 3GB of RAM and a 20.7-megapixel camera (same as in the original MX4). The aforementioned display will quite probably be 5.5-inches in size and the handset will quite probably be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 5430 octa-core processor. We of course can’t confirm that the device will, in fact, look like this, but the majority of rumors are pointing that way. The handset will arrive in about 5 days, so we’ll know for sure soon. Did any of you get the original MX4, are you happy with its performance?
