Meizu MX4 is company’s current flagship which has been extremely successful thus far. This handset was unveiled back in September and it’s still selling like crazy, Meizu actually had issues meeting the demand for a while but the company sorted those problems out real quick and is back on track now. They even introduced two additional versions of the device, MX4 Gold and Silverwing editions. That being said, it’s already confirmed that Meizu MX4 Pro is on the way. This handset will land this month and we’ve seen a ton of leaks and rumors regarding this device thus far. We didn’t know when exactly will the device launch, but it seems like Meizu just gave us its launch date.
“Think Higher! Meizu will hold a new product launch at the Vice Pavilion of the Beijing National Stadium on November 19th at 14:30, local time. We will do live posts here for you international fans.” was Meizu’s official post on Facebook along with the image which you can see above this article. Meizu also talked about MX4’s sales numbers in that post and it seems to me like they’re teasing the MX4 Pro this way. If you’re at all interested in the MX4 Pro you might want to note this date. Considering the look of the shared image and the vinyl down below, this handset might sport a distinctive audio feature or we might see some audio accessories launched alongside the device. According to rumors, audio equipment will most definitely be unveiled, speakers and headphones, it remains to be seen how legit they are though. In addition to all this, Pan Jiutang, industry analyst, said that Meizu will quite probably have tons of Meizu MX4 Pro devices to go. This basically means Meizu won’t face the same problems they did with the original Meizu MX4.
According to GFXBench leaked benchmarks and OppoMart’s listing, Meizu MX4 Pro will feature a 5.5-inch 2K display (by Sharp), 3GB of RAM and 16, 32 and 64GB of internal storage. 20.7-megapixel camera will be located at the back of the device (Sony’s IMX220 sensor) with a 2-megapixel shooter being available on the front. Meizu MX4 Pro will ship with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box with Flyme 4.0 OS on top of it. Black and White colors are mentioned as well and this is, of course, a 4G LTE device. 3100mAh battery will ship with this handset and the device will reportedly measure 144 x 75.2 x 8.9mm and weight 147 grams.
