Meizu's MX4 Pro Gets Dismantled, Here's a Look Inside

Meizu MX4 Pro launched 2 days ago and got under the spotlight. After weeks of intensive rumors and leaks when it comes to this handset, Meizu finally launched this beast in China. MX4 Pro is a bigger and more powerful version of the original MX4, even though these two handsets are similar in design, MX4 Pro sports a fingerprint scanner below the screen instead of a capacitive “dot” you’ll find on the original MX4. There are other differences here as well, though most of them lie underneath the screen, inside the device itself. Meizu MX4 Pro offers a higher-res display, more RAM and a more powerful processor which should handle anything you throw at it with ease, we’ll talk more about the specs later on. Chinese portal it168.com already managed to dismantle this handset and by doing that give us a better look of what lies inside of it. If you take a look at the gallery below the article, you’ll find a ton of images, courtesy of it168.com. For those of you interested in getting this device, this info might be useful, or perhaps you’re just curious to see how Meizu put this handset together. No matter the reason, you’ll find your answers below the article.

That being said, here’s what you’ll find inside of this handset, here’s a spec list of Meizu MX4 Pro. This handset features a 5.5-inch 2K (2560 x 1536) display along with 3GB of RAM and 16, 32 or 64GB of internal storage, depending on which model you decide to purchase, of course. Meizu’s latest offering is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 5430 octa-core processor which comes with Mali-T628 MP6 GPU for graphics processing. 20.7-megapixel IMX220 camera sensor from Sony is located on the back of this handset, while there’s a 5-megapixel shooter up front (OmniVision’s sensor). This device ships with Android 4.4 KitKat and Meizu’s very own Flyme OS on top of it. 3350mAh battery is also a part of this package and the device measures 150.1 x 77 x 9mm while it weighs 158 grams. This is a 4G LTE capable handset and it also sports a fingerprint scanner below the screen, as I already mentioned. If you’d like to check out full spec sheet for this handset, click here.
