Meizu MX4 Pro got launched 2 days ago and attracted a lot of attention from all over the world. Meizu still didn’t announce the international price for this handset (we don’t even know if they will), but there’s plenty of people outside of Asia who would like to get their hands on one of these bad boys. The device is already available for pre-order in China and with a price tag of only 2,499 Yuan ($408), it seems like Meizu managed to get a ton of people interested. First pre-order information came our way and it seems like Meizu received over 2 million pre-order within the first 24 hours.
Jingdong, Suning, Unicom… are all taking pre-order for Meizu’s latest handset, along with some other retailers. According to the information coming from China, all those pre-orders combined crossed the 2 million mark within the first 24 hours, which are great news for Meizu. This isn’t all that surprising though, Meizu MX4 enjoyed great success and MX4 Pro was certainly under a spotlight. The original Meizu MX4 managed to hit the 4 million pre-order within the first 72 hours, if MX4 Pro manages to keep this pace it will definitely crush MX4’s numbers. This Chinese manufacturer had some issues producing enough MX4 handsets the first time around considering they didn’t expect such demand, but Meizu sorted all those problems and have upped their producing capability in order to avoid such problems this time around. It will be interesting to see MX4 Pro’s data after a couple of days.
Meizu MX4 Pro sports a 5.5-inch 2K (2560 x 1536) display along with 3GB of RAM for your multitasking needs and 16, 32 or 64GB of internal storage, depending on which model you decide to purchase. This handset is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 5430 octa-core processor which comes with Mali-T628 MP6 GPU for graphics rendering. On the back of this handset, you’ll find a 20.7-megapixel IMX220 sensor from Sony (Exmor RS) while there’s a 5-megapixel shooter up front, OmniVision’s sensor. This device ships with Android 4.4 KitKat and Flyme OS on top of it. 3350mAh battery is also a part of this package. The device measures 150.1 x 77 x 9mm and it weighs 158 grams. Meizu MX4 Pro is a 4G LTE capable handset. This handset is already available for pre-order in China while it will be on sale starting 6th of December for 2499 Yuan ($408) for a 16GB version, 32GB model will cost 2699 Yuan ($441) and the 64GB will set you back 3099 Yuan ($506).
