Google’s first phablet, the Nexus 6, has launched last month alongside the Nexus 9 tablet and the Nexus Player. This handset ships with Google’s newest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. Nexus 6 is making its way to US carriers, it just hit AT&T and you can pre-order it and according to a leaked document, it will hit US retailer Best Buy soon as well. According to QbKing77’s sources and the image you can see down below, Best Buy will have the Nexus 6 in stock on November 21st. The listing also says this is the AT&T variant we’re talking about, hopefully it won’t be locked to AT&T though. The color is not listed, but the listing does say “Nexus 6 BLA”, could this mean we’ll be seeing a black variant of the Nexus 6 released soon? Well, I’d guess not, but who knows. It is quite possible Best Buy will carry the Midnight Blue color that is currently available for pre-order at AT&T. The screenshot below is of Best Buy’s RSS screen which shows the item number and UPC of the Best Buy’s Nexus 6. Considering the AT&T model is listed here, it is quite possible Best Buy will carry only the 32GB model that is available at AT&T at the moment.
Motorola-made Nexus 6 is a premium device with a premium price, which is somewhat odd for Google, but it seems the company’s Nexus line is moving to the premium space. This handset comes with premium specification. Nexus 6 sports a 5.96-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) AMOLED display along with 3GB of RAM for all your multitasking needs and 32 or 64GB of non-expandable in-built storage. This phablet is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor clocked at 2.7GHz which comes along with an Adreno 420 GPU for graphics rendering. On the back of this device you’ll find a 13-megapixel OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) camera while there’s a 2-megapixel snapper located on the front of the device. Nexus 6 ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop and a non-removable 3220mAh battery. The Nexus 6 measures 159.3 x 83 x 10.1mm and weighs 184 grams and the handset sports a premium build. This is a 4G LTE capable device and it has the usual array of sensors included, of course.
