Size Comparison: Just How big is the Google Nexus 6?

Ever since the first leaks of the Nexus 6 started coming out a few months ago, many people have been complaining about the size, while plenty of others have loved the 5.96-inch form factor. So now that we have the Nexus 6 here in hand, and a few other devices, we decided that we would go ahead and do a few size comparisons on the Google Nexus 6. Down below in the pictures, we compare the Google Nexus 6 to the 5.7-inch Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and the 5.2-inch Motorola DROID Turbo and the 5-inch Xiaomi Mi4. While in the video we add in the Sony Xperia Z3 (which is a 5.2-incher) for good measure, which is actually kinda large for a 5.2-inch device.

The Google Nexus 6 is a big device, there’s no doubt about that. But when compared to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, it’s almost the same size, which is pretty crazy given the screen size difference. The Nexus 6 also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage (there’s also a 64GB option), a 13MP camera and a 3220mAh battery inside. It’s essentially a larger Moto X, and it looks amazing.

Below, we have a video showing the size comparison. It’s pretty short, but does show you how much of a difference there is between the Google Nexus 6 and some of these other flagship smartphones out here right now. I used to be really against the Nexus 6, but after using it for a bit I’m liking it more and more. And 5-inch devices are feeling smaller and smaller. But then again that’s normal for me as I do switch devices all the time for reviews and such. How many of you are still looking to pick up a Google Nexus 6 when it finally becomes available – again?
