Earlier today, we got word that AT&T was going to start selling the Nexus 6 tomorrow, but in pre-order fashion. Well according to Sprint’s press release they are skipping pre-orders and going straight to being available in store and online. November 14th, or this Friday, you can pick up a new Google Nexus 6 straight from the Sprint Store.
“Nexus 6 will be available beginning Friday, Nov. 14, in Sprint direct ship sales channels, including Sprint Stores, Sprint Business Sales, Web Sales and Telesales at 1-800-SPRINT1. With Sprint Easy PaySM, well-qualified buyers can purchase Nexus 6 with $0 down (plus tax) and 24 monthly payments of $29 (SRP: $696; excluding taxes; service plan required).”
The Google Nexus 6 has a 5.96-inch 2560×1440 resolution AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a 13MP camera on the back. It’s also powered by a 3220mAh battery and has Android 5.0 Lollipop on board to sweeten the deal. This will be Sprint’s fourth Nexus device (Samsung Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus, LG Nexus 5, and Motorola Nexus 6). Which is second, for most Nexus devices, behind T-Mobile. While AT&T is getting their first Nexus device, and Verizon their second.
“Nexus 6 sets the stage for exciting new developments in smartphones with a stunning 6-inch Quad HD display, perfect for movies, videos and surfing the Web,” said Doug Kaufman, director-Device Strategy, Sprint. “With pricing plans like the Sprint Family Share Pack, families can take advantage of all the features of Nexus 6 without worrying about expensive rate plans or running out of data each month.”
So this Friday, November 14th, Sprint customers can go into their local Sprint store and grab a Nexus 6. How many of our readers on Sprint are going to run in and grab one on Friday? Make sure you call ahead to be sure that your local store has one available though.
