Tis’ the season, and to celebrate and give back to their customers, Boost Mobile which is probably Sprint’s best known MVNO, is permanently offering what was once a set of promotional pricing plans for them. Last month Boost Mobile began re-offering a set of plans that were a previous promotion that consisted of a $35, $45, and $55 a month pricing plan, and those were expected to only last a short period of time, but Boost Mobile today announced that they would be keeping the plans around for good. Boost Mobile’s ‘Data Boost’ plans were introduced initially back in September, and with already having brought them back once last month we’re not too surprised to see Boost offer them up permanently to their customers as the popularity for them must have been high enough to warrant the decision to keep them.
The plans as stated above start at a monthly cost of $35 which offers customers unlimited voice calling, unlimited messaging, and Unlimited Data with a 1GB throttle cap. If 1GB isn’t enough customers have the choice to bump up to the $45 a month plan which gives them the same unlimited voice, messages, and data but instead of a 1GB throttle cap they get an allotment of 5GB a month. The last plan is the $55 a month plan which gives customers all of the above mentioned services, but then bumps the data throttle cap to 10GB. This would be the perfect plan for the power users.
Alongside this promotion turned regular carrier prices, Boost mobile has launched a new Android device from ZTE called the Speed, which carries a 4.5-inch display, a 5MP rear facing camera, a 2MP front facing camera, a Qualcomm quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and it has about 8GB of storage space on board, it also comes with a microSD card slot with support for up to 32GB cards just in case 8GB isn’t enough, and it usually never is these days. The device is set at a price of just $100 without having the need to sign up for a contract, which isn’t bad for a device running android 4.4 Kit Kat. If you’re a Boost customer and you missed out on these promotional plans before, now that they’re here to stay you can sign up for them any time.
