Game Of Thrones Episode One From Telltale Games Is Now Available On Android

Are you a fan of character driven narratives and story plots that unfold as you make certain decisions throughout games? Then you need to pick any of the available games on the Play Store from Telltale Games, which now includes the first episode of their Game of Thrones series adaption. The release had already hit consoles last week, surprisingly before we have even seen Tales From The Borderlands which landed on consoles a week or two ago. All the same, this is one of the Telltale Games series I have personally been waiting for, and it was a “no-brainer” buy from the start. Especially since I’m such a huge Game of Thrones fan.

Like all titles from Telltale Games, Game of Thrones will be an episodic series, where the full game is essentially split up into multiple parts. You’ll be able to buy each episode piece by piece as they’re released from Telltale Games or you’ll have the opportunity to snag the season pass which gives you all episodes when they launch for a single set price, usually around $15. The first episode of Game of Thrones costs $4.99, and there will be six episodes when Telltale Games finishes the game series. So, doing the math, you’ll save a ton if you pick up the season pass if you’re going to buy all episodes.

This episodic series follows the events of the War of The Five Kings, focusing on House Forrester who are loyal to House Stark and inhabitants of the North of Westeros. During the game you’ll see plenty of familiar faces if you have followed HBO‘s TV adaption of the popular novels, and remember that the game follows your direction so when you make a choice it plays out based off of what you select. You also only have a limited amount of time to make a decision, or the game will actively select one for you, but that’s no fun is it? The game demands some pretty high specs if you want to enjoy it as it’s meant to be played, but you can scoot by on some lower end specs if need be, just nothing below 1GB of RAM as per the suggestions of Telltale Games. It’s also best enjoyed with headphones plugged in, another suggestion by Telltale Games when you load up Game of Thrones, and I have to agree with that as it helps to immerse you more in the game. If you’re ready to journey into the land of Westeros and decide the fates of House Forrester, you can download Telltale’s first episode of the series from the download link in the Play Store.
