Huawei Glory / Honor 6 Plus has been rumored like crazy lately, we’ve also seen a ton of leaks when it comes to this handset. Huawei will launch this handset in about 2 hours and until that happens, we have yet another leak to share with you. As you can see, there’s a poster image located above this article which shows you part of the device. This is quite probably a part of Huawei’s planned post-launch promotion of the handset, at least it looks that way. This handset also got listed on Oppomart yesterday, touting a $399 price, which would be great considering this handset’s specifications. The device itself leaked yesterday as well, though the picture was taken from the back side and the handset was covered by headphones, so we didn’t exactly get to see a lot of detail there.
That being said, we also know the specifications of this handset. According to TENAA’s (China’s equivalent of the FCC) listing, Honor 6 Plus will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p display along with 3GB of RAM for all your multitasking endeavors and 32GB of internal storage (we still don’t know if the storage will be expandable, but I doubt it). Huawei’s very own Kirin 925 octa-core processor will power on this handset and 3,500mAh battery will be in charge of keeping it alive during the day. Two 8-megapixel cameras will be located on the back of this handset and will offer a ton of software features and are allegedly rather capable of delivering solid images, though that remains to be seen, of course. Android 4.4 KitKat will come pre-installed on this handset with Huawei’s Emotion UI located on top of it. According to the listing, the device will measure 150.46 x 75.68 x 7.5mm and weight 165 grams.
Honor 6 Plus is not the only handset we might see launched today though, Honor / Glory 4X is yet another Huawei offering which has been leaked recently. Honor 4X will be the first handset by Huawei to run their newly announced and a first 64-bit chip by the company, Kirin 620, which is for all intents an purposes a mid-range chip, but a rather capable one. Anyhow, stay tuned, the event is taking place in a few hours.
