Meizu has announced their MX4 Pro handset last month and along with that announcement the company has revealed many features this handset offers, whether we’re talking hardware or software. Meizu’s Flyme OS offers a lot of software features, but the company did their best to differentiate in the hardware department as well. Let’s take sound for example, Meizu has mentioned “Retina Sound” in their announcement and also listed ES9018 and OPA1612 audio chips which are combined with a passive filter inside the device in order to provide deep base and crisp sound. This handset also provides a loud output, 123db has been mentioned as well. All that sounds good, but it seems like this handset isn’t all that good as we though on the sound front, though that of course depends on what you expected. First report from China says the audio is alright, but not as good as expected, truth be told, it was tested by an audio expert of sorts and I do believe he has a different standards as far as audio goes. He didn’t exactly say that the sound is bad, but it’s not great either. We’ll test the audio capabilities of his handset as part of our full review, but this is the first report of this kind, let’s wait for some more information before drawing the final conclusion.

This device ships with Android 4.4 KitKat and Flyme OS on top of it and the 3350mAh battery is also a part of this package.
