If you love Motorola then you should keep reading. If you are obsessed with drone technology, then you should also keep reading. If you love Motorola and drone technology then your luck is in, as it seems Motorola is extremely keen to show off the second generation Moto X’s 4K camera capabilities. This came in the form of a new video today which Motorola uploaded to their Motorola Mobility YouTube account. To really give viewers an idea of what the camera on the Moto X can do, Motorola decided to attach the Moto X to a drone and send it up into the skies to see what it could film. Manned by a qualified drone operator the Moto X blazed across the skies, filming some quite impressive scenery.
Luckily for them it was a day of good weather over the San Francisco Bay area skyline. If you want to check out the footage then you can by watching the video below. It is worth a watch. Although, do keep in mind that this is being streamed over YouTube and as such the best resolution you are going to get it 1080p. As such, you won’t really get to see the owner of 4K shooting and that is even if you have a 4K supported TV. That said, it is worth a watch and even more so for the banging soundtrack Motorola have tagged on to the video.
If you want to know a bit more about the Moto X in general then here comes a spec recap. The Moto x (2014) comes with a 5.2″ display with a Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution. In case you are wondering that’s with a 423 ppi. Inside, the Moto X comes with 2GB RAM, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor (clocking at 2.5GHz). Additional features include 16 or 32GB internal memory, a 2,300mAh battery and turbocharging technology. Not forgetting of course, those cameras we saw in the video which include a 13MP rear shooter with autofocus and a dual-LED flash. On the front is a 2MP front-facing camera. Now stop reading and check out that video.
