It’s about that time, time for John Legere to make fun of his competitors on stage…or not. This morning, T-Mobile announced Uncarrier 8.0 which is going down tomorrow at about 10:30am ET, so you’ll want to keep it locked on Android Headlines for all the coverage. But basically this Uncarrier event is just a fireside chat with T-Mobile CEO John Legere and Yahoo Tech’s David Pogue. There’s no official word on what exactly they’ll be doing, other than talking. But T-Mobile did say that it was so big they had to keep it under wraps. So we’ll have to wait and see what Legere and team have planned for tomorrow.
This webcast will be live streamed, and you can check out the live stream from the source link below. Recent Uncarrier events have brought us no more contracts, JUMP early upgrade programs, Music Freedom, Unlimited Global roaming and more. So it’ll be interesting to see what they have up their sleeves this time around. But if Uncarrier 6 and 7 were anything to go by, I think they are running out of ideas at this point. Tomorrow will definitely be an interesting day.
Any bets on what Legere might be announcing tomorrow? There could be something about the 700MHz spectrum, as we have seen that signal popping up in more and more cities lately, with the latest one being in Detroit. And that would be a really popular topic, as T-Mobile’s spectrum is all high-frequency which makes indoor signal suck, however the 700MHz band can change that, and hopefully they get it rolled out quick and are able to buy the rest from all the other small regional carriers.
How many of you are excited to see what John Legere and his team have to announce tomorrow at Uncarrier 8? Let us know in the comments below.
