Xiaomi Released Yet Another Color Combination Of Their Mi4 Flagship

Xiaomi’s Mi4 flagship handset is an extremely popular piece of smartphone technology all over the world, though mainly in China, of course. This handset initially launched in white color (back and front) with a metal frame and trim all around. Eventually, Xiaomi launched the all black version of that handset, quite recently actually, whose back and front sides are black and the frame / trim is also black, which makes it completely different than the white version. Xiaomi decided to release yet another color option of their flagship handset, this time around we get a similar pattern we’ve seen with the original, black unit. You get a metallic frame and black front and back sides of the device. You can see check out its design above this article, I have to admit I really like it. The device looks sleek as always and this metallic frame actually fits in nicely with the black sides of the handset itself. Other than that, this is the same old Xiaomi Mi4.

Mi4 sports a 5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) IPS LCD display along with 3GB of RAM and 16 or 64GB of non-expandable internal storage. This handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz which comes with an Adreno 330 GPU for graphics processing. Xiaomi Mi4 comes with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a dual-LED flash while there’s an 8-megapixel shooter located on the front of the device. Mi4 comes with Android 4.4.3 KitKat pre-installed on top of which you’ll find company’s MIUI OS. The handset measures 139.2 x 68.5 x 8.9mm and weighs 149 grams. We’re talking about a 4G capable device here and the device ships with the usual array of sensors built-in. Non-removable 3080mAh battery is also a part of this package.

This version of Xiaomi Mi4 isn’t available to everyone, at least not yet. The information says the device is available only to “subscribers” in China who can get it directly from Xiaomi. The only model available in this color combination is the 16GB 4G variant and it costs 1999 Yuan ($325). Now that we got that out of the way, what are your thoughts here, do you like this color combination?
