Oppo has just announced that their Find 7 phablet is now available for pre-order from Amazon UK. This handset has launched back in March and what some of you might not know is the fact that OnePlus One was actually designed based on this handset. The resemblance is uncanny, no matter which way you look at it. Anyhow, you can now pre-order the Find 7 via Amazon UK in both its color variants, Black and White. There are two versions of the handset available, the base model and the more advanced version. The base model will set you back £319 while the more expensive model will cost you £379. Oppo Find 7 will ship your way on December 17th should you decide to pre-order it now.
Okay, let’s see what the differences are between these two models. The base model features a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The more advanced (and more expensive) version of the Find 7 comes sporting a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1080) display, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Both of these handsets are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, the difference is in their clock rates. The base model’s SoC is clocked at 2.3GHz while the one on the more expensive variant is tuned to 2.5GHz. Other than that, these two phablets are basically the same.
Both of them sport 4G LTE connectivity in case you need it and you can expand the internal storage via MicroSD card on both of these handsets. As far as cameras go, the 13-megapixel snapper is located at the back and flanked by a dual-LED flash while there’s a 5-megapixel camera on the front side of this device. Rapid Charging is available here as well, so you shouldn’t wait for too long before your phone charges and don’t forget about Oppo’s camera feature which lets you take 50-megapixel photos with that 13-megapixel sensor, and they turn out just fine in the end. Oppo Find 7 measures 152.6 x 75 x 9.2mm and weighs 171 grams.
