AirDroid Gets Updated To Version 3.0.3 And Adds Compatibility With Lollipop For AirMirror Feature

Sometimes checking your phone for the incoming notifications isn’t the quickest way to do things, this typically becomes a common occurrence for anyone who works at a computer frequently or as a main part of their job or career, and it could be more efficient if you could simply check notifications and control certain parts of your Android device from your computer. AirDroid has been providing this type of functionality and service to Android users for quite some time and they have implemented many updates over the years that brought in some pretty cool features.

One of the latest features to date that has recently hit the scene is AirDroid’s AirMirror feature which is currently in beta, the only downside is that is has only been available to users running versions of Android below Android Lollipop. The team at Sand Studio is proud to announce that the AirMirror feature is now available for Android Lollipop users. Among the feature receiving much praise for its ability to give access and full control of your Android device on your desktop or laptop, people had seemed to be complaining about the lack of support for Lollipop. Sand Studio heard your pleas and has brought the feature to those running Android 5.0

The latest update to Airdroid brings it forward to version 3.0.3, and like all versions before it, some features within are going to require root access, though not all. This is the case of the newly available AirMirror feature, as it requires users to have root on their devices if they want to take advantage of it, and it also only supports Windows or Mac at this time. Sorry Linux users. If you use a rooted Android device running Lollipop, give AirDroid another try and check out the AirMirror feature to see how things work. As we stated it enables complete control of Android from the desktop, with the ability to use Android apps on your computer like WhatsApp an other messaging services for example. AirDroid is even celebrating this momentous occasion with the ability to win access to 1 full year of AirDroid Premium by simply sharing the news about the new compatibility with Lollipop via social feeds.
