Sony’s Xperia T3 Finally Gets Android 4.4.4 KitKat Update
Sony’s Xperia T3 isn’t what you’d call an exciting smartphone, but then again it’s designed to be a budget-minded handset. The Snapdragon 400 CPU and overall fit and finish pretty much makes that clear enough. When it launched in July last year it did so with Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Now, it’s getting the upgrade to Android 4.4.4 along with other Sony handsets. The firmware version is 18.1.A.2.25 for the D5103, D5106 meanwhile the 3G-only D5102 has been getting 18.1.A.2.32. Either way there doesn’t seem to be too much new here and they appear to be slight updates for all models.
AT&T Play Musical Chairs With Latest Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Update
Over Christmas, AT&T decided to update the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, why they even bothered is a little beyond me as they didn’t add any new content, they just had a little game of musical chairs. All of the icons on the homescreen have been moved around – pointlessly – and Chrome has been given the boot for the “S Browser”, which is obviously a much better product. The “enhancements” as AT&T call them are listed below and you can find more info directly from them.
Modify home layout and Updating 3rd party applications:
AT&T FamilyMap
AT&T Locker
AT&T Mail
AT&T Ready2Go
Keeper
YPMobile
Replace Chrome with S Browser on the home screen
Change the weather widget to the smaller version
Add Chrome in the Google folder
Add AT&T AllAccess in the ATT folder

OnePlus One Release Android 5.0 Lollipop Alpha
As we reported earlier on, OnePlus have now released an Alpha version of their stock Android Lollipop ROM. It’s available for download right now, and we should warn you it’s pretty rough as of right now. Still, it is nice to see this sort of thing from them after all the unpleasantness with Cyanogen. You can read more here and check out an interview with Carl Pei himself here.
