Lenovo has released many budget tablets in the past, and they just did it again in India. Lenovo Tab 2 A7-10 is the company’s newest tablet in the “A” series of budget tablets. This device was announced at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas last week and it is now available in India. Anyhow, let’s see what this tablet has to offer and if it’s a good purchase, let’s start off with its specifications.
This device features a 7-inch 1024 x 600 IPS display along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which is expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. The tablet is powered by MediaTek’s MT8382M quad-core processor which is clocked at 1.3GHz. This tablet ships with a 3,450mAh battery on the inside and comes with Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed, and the source says that it is upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop, which is great, of course. This thing doesn’t have a camera on the back, but it does sport a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing shooter for your video calls and what not. Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity is here, but this tablet does not offer cellular connectivity, in case you were wondering. 189 x 105 x 9.3mm are this device’s measurements, and it weighs 269 grams.
