Many thought that the Galaxy S6 would be announced this week at CES. I’m not sure why, CES isn’t really the place where you announce a flagship smartphone, that’s Mobile World Congress and IFA. However, we did know it’d be at CES for carrier partners to take a look at, as it is every year. The Galaxy S6 probably will be announced next month in Barcelona, but until then, Sammobile has posted the official list of Samsung accessories for the Galaxy S6. In addition to the ones listed below, Samsung will also be selling a wireless charger for the Galaxy S6.
“EF-CG920B – Zero-F S View Cover Case , EP-PG920I – Zero-Flat S Charger Pad Power, EF-WG920B – Zero-F Flip Wallet Case, ET-FG920C†– Zero-F Screen protector ETC, EF-YG920B – Zero-F Protective Cover [PULeather] Case, EF-QG920B – Zero-F Protective Cover [Clear] Case, EF-YG925BMEBUS – Zero Protective Cover [PULeather] Case, EF-WG925BSEBUS – Zero Flip Wallet Case PVR, and EF-QG925BGEGWWâ€â€Ž – Zero Protective Cover [Clear]Case.”
So there’s quite a few cases and other accessories there that Samsung will be offering with the Galaxy S6. But the big question is, will they be available at launch? We’ve seen Samsung announce a bunch of accessories with their latest flagships and they become available months and months after release – similar to the Nexus and it’s accessories. So let’s cross our fingers and hope that these accessories will be available in a timely fashion.
Currently, there’s not a whole lot of rumors on the Galaxy S6. We’ll probably get a QHD AMOLED display, along with 3 or 4GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB of storage and a Snapdragon 810 running the show. That’ll be about it, most likely, at least on the hardware side. We’re definitely excited to see what Samsung does on both hardware and software, as they are expected to revamp the entire smartphone from the ground up. Definitely can’t wait to see what Samsung does this time around. Who else is with me?
