Can't Wait for the Galaxy S6? This Wallpaper Might Help You Out

Every year we go through a similar cycle, with Samsung releasing a new flagship device every year. In the run-up to that device however, we hear many rumors – which Samsung themselves have poked fun at this year – and case renders, component leaks and most recently photographic looks at the device before its even been announced. It’s a sad fact that manufacturers can’t quite seem to keep a lid on their devices these days, but considering there are so many people and different facilities involved in the production of a smartphone these days it’s no wonder that people manage to get their hands on pre-release parts and do their best to spread the word online.

This year, we’ve seen the Galaxy S6 leak out time and time again in some form or another and as the software on these devices becomes arguably more important than the outside, it’s no wonder we’ve been hearing more on that front as well. We’ve seen a number of wallpapers leak out from the new HTC One device and Samsung isn’t immune to the same sort of leaks and the wallpaper design that we’ve seen in many of the case renders and leaks over the past few weeks is now available to download.

This may or not be the default wallpaper to ship on the Galaxy S6, but it sure looks like something Samsung would use on one of their devices. To me, it looks similar to the sort of wallpapers that were shipped with the Galaxy Alpha and the Galaxy Note 4, which would further suggest that Samsung is to build on the design from those two devices. If you’re interested in download the wallpaper, you can download it here, and you probably already know how to set this as a wallpaper on your device. This might just help those that can’t wait for the Galaxy S6 to be announced. Speaking of which, we’ll be live in Barcelona when Samsung finally take wraps off of their latest and greatest smartphone, so keep it locked here.
