Motorola announced back in November that they would be offering up a selection of interchangeable bands designed to promote healthier lifestyles. The Moto 360 comes with metal bands crafted from aircraft-grade stainless steel – a modern, contemporary tri-link that gives the Moto 360 both a rugged and a refined look at the same time. They are offering up a light metal band and a dark metal band available on the watch for $299. Soon, there will be a Moto 360 with new slim bands, which will help people with smaller wrists – or for those that are tired of more manly looking watchbands. Slim bands will be in light metal for $99 and a new champagne gold for $329. Motorola has also promised a dark brown leather band, out the same time as the champagne gold.
As usual, these bands were first available in the US, but are now there are three of them on their way to Canada this March. They will offer a dark metal version with a 23mm metal strap for $329 and it will be available at TELUS, Best Buy and Future Shop. A light metal version with a metal 23mm strap for $329 at Best Buy and Future Shop. One of the new slim metal champagne versions with a narrower 18mm metal strap will be available at TELUS.
Motorola will also be offering interchangeable stone, black and cognac leather bands for those who already own a Moto 360. They have also partnered with DODOcase to offer stitched leather bands in four new colors and are teaming up with TYLT to bring you colorful silicone bands to give your Moto 360 an entirely different look.
Motorola has been hard at work updating the Moto 360, such as Moto Body – designed for a healthier lifestyle, allowing you to track your steps, distance, heart rate and calories. It works like other health bands, collecting data and then uploading the information. My Design watch face option allows you to customize background images, the style of the tick marks and even the watch hands.
Please hit us up on our Google+ Page and let us know if you are happy with the improvements to the Moto 360. Are you interested in picking up a new Moto 360 watch in its new color or style…as always, we would love to hear from you.
