Amazon Celebrate Appstore Birthday With Latest App Bundle Giveaway

If something is being offered for free, then chances are it is worth knowing about. Amazon is quite good at offering something for nothing. Well, in respects of android apps, they are. The online retail giant does give away a free app every day. Of course, not all of these are necessary worth the download, but they are free and every now and again, there will be something there that you want. On top of their daily offerings, Amazon also does routinely host a massive app blowout, in which a number of paid apps are all offered for free, for a limited time.

Typically speaking, these app blowouts are offered in conjunctions with a calendar event of some sort. So we saw one for Halloween, for Christmas, New Year’s and so on. Well, following on from Google’s recent 3rd birthday celebrations for Google Play, Amazon’s new app blowout is courtesy of Amazon’s Appstore’s birthday. To celebrate, the latest bundle consists of 34 app/game offerings with a suggested combined value (saving) of $105. Typical of these giveaways, a number of the apps being offered have been offered in previous app giveaways or as the free app of the day. That said, there are usually a number of apps making the list which have not been included in previous free app bundles.

In terms of what’s on offer this time around. It looks like the big freebie title on this occasion is Five Night’s At Freddy’s 2. This one is also being touted as the normal free app of the day (FOTD). Other games on offer include Cut the Rope, World of Goo, Unpossible, Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek, Chimpact 2 and Slingshot Racing. Non-game offerings include FolderSync, Cross DJ Pro, OpenDocument Reader, Business Calendar, EasyTether and Servers Ultimate Pro. You can view the entire list offering by clicking the source link below. Alternatively, just hit up your Amazon Appstore app on your android device and you should see the promotion tab. Clicking on this will also list all the available free offerings. These Amazon promotions, normally run for a couple of days. However, as this is a birthday one, don’t be surprised if it is here today and gone tomorrow.
