While all the talk in the android world revolves around MWC, there are other things happening in the world. For instance, Google are always up to something and the latest from over Google’s side of the water is that they have launched a new all-inclusive content sale. Now Google are always giving away stuff on the Play Store. Sometimes a free app, or an album reduced to 0.99 or even free sometimes. Not to mention, books and movies are always dropping in price for a limited time.
However, today’s sale is a little more Google relevant, as it is being offered to mark the 3 birthday of Google Play. As a result, Google have taken the number ‘3’ to heart and are offering 33 items up for grabs. This means it is a rather mixed bag with a selection of apps, games, books, movies and albums on sale. The upside of such a mix bag is that although, not everything will apply to your personally, there should at least be something on there for everyone.
So what should you get? Well, depends on your interest. If you are musically inclined then there are a couple of albums which have been dropped to 99 cents. These are albums by Drake, Beck and Daft Punk. If you are more in the market for an app then Google are currently offer Runtastic Running, Runtastic Sit-Ups or Facetune all for only 0.10 cents each. If you are after a movie, then the theme of the sale seems to be ‘dark’ with three Batman movies all up for $2.99 each. Not to mention, Divergent is also on sale dropping from $9.60 down to $3. Not to mention there are books on offer too, with titles by the likes of Lev Grossman, Margaret Atwood and Ken Follat and all up for grabs around the $3 marker. As you have probably guessed, the number 3 seems to play a big role in the prices too. Either way though, if you have some Google Play Store credit to burn or fancy picking up a deal to celebrate Google Play’s birthday then head over to the deal listing now.
