T-Mobile’s Galaxy Note 3 Gets the Sweet Gift of Lollipop

 

A recurring theme for much of the first half of this year is going to be software updates and considering Samsung has so many phones out there, it’s no surprise that these updates are pouring it a fair pace these days. Up next is the Galaxy Note 3 on T-Mobile, Samsung is giving users the sweet taste of Lollipop with the software build N900TUVUFOB5, and much like other updates to Lollipop from Samsung, it’s bound to be a biggie. Galaxy Note 4 Gets Lollipop on Sprint

 

While T-Mobile is giving the Galaxy Note 3 Lollipop, Sprint is giving its younger brother Lollipop. The Galaxy Note 4 is receiving Lollipop with a software number of N910PVPU1BOB7 and aside from the update to Android 5.0, there are WiFi calling improvements listed. HTC One (M8) Gets Lollipop on Verizon

 

Verizon hasn’t forgotten about you M8 owners, oh no, and to prove it they’re bringing you Android 5.0 Lollipop. As well, they’ve spent a little extra time showing you how to use the new features on their usual support site, which is fairly decent of them, let’s be honest. This has software version 4.17.605.5 and all the information you need to know can be found directly from Verizon’s support page.

We Take a Look at Sony’s Take on Lollipop

 

Okay, so this isn’t an update that you can go out and get your hands on, but we thought you Sony fans would like to take a look at Sony’s take on Android 5.0 Lollipop. During Mobile World Congress, we were lucky enough to spend some quality time with the Lollipop software on the Xperia Z4 Tablet and the Xperia Z3, and you can take a look at that here.

Galaxy Note 3 Gets Lollipop Update in India

 

Rounding out today’s bunch of updates is the update to the Galaxy Note 3 in India. Just like the updates that have rolled out here in the US, our Indian readers will be getting the update right about now. This is for the SM-N900 version of the device, and it’s available over-the-air as well as through KIES, which might be a safe option for a lot of you. The software version is listed as N900XXUEBOB2 which should come with all of the same updates and tweaks that other regions have been getting with the Galaxy Note 3.
