When HTC announced the new One, the M9, some of you out there were a little disappointed to see that HTC have stuck to the same sort of formula as they last few years. On the bright side though, that could have meant that the HTC One M9 was to be more affordable than previous models. Well, that looks less and likely to come true, as we keep on seeing the price for the One M9 hit around $650 and now, we’re seeing it at B&H Photo, a well respected electronics retailer that’s pretty good at getting their hands on official prices before others.
They’ve put up the HTC One M9 on their website, and while you can’t pre-order it from them, you can of course add it to your wishlist. The price is listed at $649, which is a pretty typical price point for a device like this, but it would have been nice to see HTC price this latest One a little lower. Depending on how much the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge retail from Samsung, HTC could have an uphill battle on their hands with the pricing of the M9. Of course, purchasing a device like this unlocked is never cheap, and all of the technology packed into the One M9 is certainly worth paying for.
We’re seeing a number of European networks putting the M9 up for pre-order, with the UK’s EE putting the One M9 up for pre-order just this morning. The pricing across the pond doesn’t seem to be too different either, and it looks like the One M9 is going to be priced just like any other smartphone on the market. We really shouldn’t have expected anything different of course, but it’ll be interesting to see if any bundle deals emerge as we get closer to the M9’s street date in the next month or so. In the meantime, take a look at the source link below and let us know how much you’d be willing to pay for the M9 down below.
