Leak Reportedly Shows a Press Render of the LG G4

OnLeaks (source link below) has leaked what it reports to be a press render of LG’s upcoming LG G4 flagship smartphone. The leak, which appears on twitter, notes that this is an early render so it may not be what the final product will look like. But if this image is to turn out true it looks as if the phone will receive a camera boost. The press render also shows the signature power and volume buttons located on the back of the device just like the prior two smartphones in the LG G series. It does not appear to show the rumored fingerprint scanner on the power button, however it was rumored that this addition was a latecomer and therefore did not make it in time for the press render that is shown on OnLeaks twitter page. It also appears that the phone will keep the laser focus, which was a highlight of the LG G3 and will keep the dual-LED flash.

LG is expected to draw a lot of attention to its new device. LG has already said they intend on selling over 10 million of their upcoming flagship device. That may not be an unreachable number as both the LG G3 and the LG G2 sold very well and brought some life back into LG. The LG G3 even received a “best smartphone of the year award” at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and has been reported to have sold between 6-7 million devices. So if LG can keep that momentum going, the LG G4 should prove to be a money maker for LG.

It is expected that the LG G4 will be announced sometime in the next few months. With this announcement, it is rumored to have a Quad HD display, 3GB of RAM and carry the Snapdragon 810. It is important to note that these are all speculation and that this render or any speculated specifications are not confirmed and are certainly subject to change. It will be interesting to see how this device pans out. LG may have been smart announcing the phone after Mobile World Congress so that it can control the spotlight which should help bolster sales of this anticipated device. Until LG makes their official announcement we will just have to wait and see what is in store. With more leaks such as this one bout to be released in the time before the official launch, we will have a lot to dream about for the LG G4. Do you plan of purchasing LG’s latest flagship the LG G4?
