LG G Flex 2 Now Available at Carphone Warehouse

In addition to Sprint in the US getting the LG G Flex 2, Carphone Warehouse has also announced that it has the LG G Flex 2 available starting today. Carphone Warehouse is offering the LG G Flex 2 for just £34.50 per month or £529 outright. To sweeten the deal, Carphone Warehouse is also offering a free LG Bluetooth Speaker and a free LG Quick Circle case along with the LG G Flex 2. But that’s only for those that pick this up on a monthly plan, and only good while supplies last.

The LG G Flex 2 is one of the first curved smartphones to land in the US, behind the original LG G Flex which landed last year. It’s a pretty decent upgrade over the original. With a smaller 5.5-inch 1080p P-OLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor inside, 3GB of RAM paired with 32GB of storage (or 2GB of RAM with 16GB of storage), along with a 3000mAh battery inside. We also have LG’s 13MP OIS+ camera on the back of the LG G Flex 2, which takes some breathtaking pictures.

Some early reviews of the LG G Flex 2 have stated that there are some performance issues with the device. For now, I’d chalk that up to early software, and unfinished software. Now that the device is launching in the UK and the US today, we should have final software, and have devices that are compatible with our networks (the Korean models don’t work too well outside of Korea). We should have our review unit here shortly, and as soon as we do, we’ll begin working on our full review of the device. And let you know if the device still has performance problems or not, we’re going to cross our fingers and hope not. That’s the last thing you’d want out of a phone that costs this much.

How many of you in the UK are looking to pick up the LG G Flex 2? Are you looking to grab it from Carphone Warehouse or somewhere else? If you do pick up the device, be sure to let us know in the comments down below how you are liking it.
