OnePlus Gets In On The HTC One M9 And Samsung Galaxy S6 Action

Today, MWC in Barcelona kicked off with a bang with two of the largest android manufacturers touting their newest flagship devices. Samsung and HTC were both in attendance and both holding their MWC typical press conferences in which they both showed off their Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9, respectively. Over the past few weeks and months, both of these devices have been the focus of immense speculation and rumor throwing, with an almost daily occurrence of new leaks, images, renders and even videos. Finally, today, both devices were unveiled putting an end to the rumors and speculation.

Well, it seems one company who have had their share of attention over the last twelve months seem set on letting the android world know their thoughts on the two newly arrived flagship devices. OnePlus have on numerous occasions been on the receiving end of both negative and positive social media feedback with their own flagship device, the OnePlus One. Taking again to social media sites, OnePlus were today noted sending out a couple of  HTC One M9 and Samsung Galaxy S6 posts.

First up, OnePlus sent out an image showing the HTC One M9 alongside both the One M8 and M7. The tagline to the image read “The devil is in the details. Small thoughtful changes lead to a much better overall product. High five HTC!“. Seemingly paying tribute to the Taiwanese company. Although, the image also came with the now synonymous OnePlus motto #never settle. Following shortly afterwards, OnePlus sent out another image and this time seeming to poke fun at Samsung and their Galaxy S6 device. In the buildup to the release of the Galaxy S6, numerous images were released by Samsung with the ‘Six Appeal” tagline. Well, OnePlus decided to cut straight to the chase here with their image showing the OnePlus in the same position and from the same view as the Galaxy S6 image, but with a “This Is Sex Appeal” tagline. How these are interpreted will be up to you. Are OnePlus showing support for HTC but poking fun at Samsung? Poking fun at both? Let us know what you think.
