T-Mobile Hosting another Uncarrier Event in NYC on March 18th

This evening, T-Mobile has been sending out invites for an Uncarrier event in New York City in just under two weeks, on March 18th. It’s set for 1pm EST, and that’s about all we know. The invite says “This One’s A Real Piece Of Work”. So it will be interesting to see what T-Mobile and John Legere have up their sleeve for this one. We’ve reached out to T-Mobile for comment, and we’ll be sure to update once we get one, if we get a comment.

Apple’s Watch event is set to take place Monday, March 9th. So it could be something in relation to Apple’s Watch, but then again, if you look at the site’s that have received invites, none of them are Apple sites. Which leads us to believe that it’s not about the Apple Watch. We do have the HTC One M9 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 coming up at the end of March and early April. But what could T-Mobile do with either of those devices to make them “Uncarrier”? Maybe they removed all the bloat? Even HTC and Samsung’s apps? We could speculate all day long, but I’m thinking more about the Business side of things.

Earlier today, we saw Verizon announce some changes to their business accounts. So this could be something to that effect. Maybe some more Android @ Work stuff as well? Which we did see demoed at Mobile World Congress earlier this week, in Barcelona. We could speculate all day, and we likely will. But let’s hear from our readers, what do you think that T-Mobile has in store for us on March 18th? And who wants to place bets on how many times Legere curses, or bad mouths the competition? I’d like to see the over/under on that. Let us know your thoughts in the comments down below, as always.
