Today, there has been a lot of announcements in terms of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the HTC One M9. That is due to the fact that both devices have now been officially announced at available to pre-order from tomorrow. Since both companies made the announcement, the individual carrier announcements have been coming thick and fast. In terms of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, AT&T, T- Mobile and Sprint have all made their details known. As have U.S. Cellular. Verizon did also send out a tweet earlier, confirming that they will be making both devices available for pre-order from April 1st. Which did seem strange, considering everyone was opening order from tomorrow. However, at the time, there were no details provided, in terms of pricing. Now, Verizon have sent out a press release detailing their options for both the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Both devices will be available on a straight two-year contract and both devices will also be available as part of the Verizon Edge program, which allows you to pay off for the device over two years with $0 down.
In terms of the Galaxy S6, the prices are as follows. The 32GB version will cost $24.99 on a two-year Verizon Edge plan. Alternatively, on a standard two-year plan the cost will be $199.99 down payment (after $50 mail-in rebate debit card). For the 64GB version, the monthly Verizon Edge cost will be $29.16 with $0 down, while the standard two-year plan will include a down payment of $299.99 (again after rebate). For the 128GB version, the Verizon Edge plan with $0 down will cost $33.33 a month while the standard two-year plan will see an down payment of $399.99 (after mail-in rebate).
In terms of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, on Verizon Edge the 32GB version will cost $29.16 a month. The 64GB version will cost $33.33 a month while the 128GB version will cost $37.49 a month. In terms of the standard two-year contracts, the S6 Edge will see a down payment of $299.99 for the 32GB version, a down payment of $399.99 on the 64GB version and a down payment of $499.99 on the 128GB versions. Once again, these down payments are all after the same $50 mail-in rebate.
