Xiaomi's Yi Action Camera Is Now Available Internationally Via A Reseller

We live in a very interesting world, technology has become an integral part of our lives, and that connection will become even stronger in the future. We’re seeing more and more tech gadgets being launched year after year, and Action cameras have become a thing a while back. Although these products don’t have such a vast consumer base, they’re really popular, more or less anyone knows what a GoPro cam is. Well, Xiaomi has decided to rival GoPro, and release their own live action camera a couple of days back after they teased that product for a while.

Xiaomi has released the Yi Action Camera, a really affordable counterpart to GoPro. This gadget is officially available only in China, unfortunately, but I’m sure there are those of you outside of that Asian country who would like to get your hands on this device. Well, now you can do that, a Chinese reseller, Honorbuy, has made the Yi Action camera available worldwide. The reseller has listed this Action cam on their website, and you can get it for $99.99. This price is actually not that bad, though this makes the camera $20 more expensive than if you’d purchase it directly from Xiaomi in China, plus tax. If you’re interested in purchasing this device, and you don’t live in China, visit the source link down below for more information.

The Xiaomi Yi Action camera weighs 72 grams and it is waterproof, of course. You can take this device 40m below water without having to worry about it getting damaged or anything of the sort. Xiaomi has packed in a 16-megapixel Sony Exmor R sensor inside of this gadget, with which you can record video in 1080p (1920 x 1080) resolution at 60fps. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity are also on board here, and the aforementioned camera also lets you shoot timelapse videos and has some additional functions built in.

There you have it. If you’re interested in purchasing Xiaomi’s newest action cam, you can now do so. You’ll have to pay extra considering you’ll buy it via a reseller, but you really don’t have a choice if you’re interested and live outside of China. Anyhow, let us know what you think of Xiaomi’s newest product.
