ZTE Nubia Z9 has been mentioned quite often lately. We’ve seen a lot of rumors and leaks regarding this phone in the last couple of weeks, and ZTE has even teased the launch of this device the other day. The company will announce the Nubia Z9 on March 26th, and we can also expect them to launch the Nubia Z9 Max along with that handset, perhaps even the Nubia Z9 Mini. We’ve already seen the Nubia Z9 Max in the flesh at MWC in Barcelona, where this China-based smartphone OEM showed off the device to some news outlets, but didn’t officially announce it.
The Nubia Z9 has leaked many times before, and in most of the leaked images the device has almost no bezel on the sides. Well, another leak just came our way, and it shows the alleged bezel-less Nubia Z9 once again. If you take a look at the first image down below, you’ll notice that the device in the background has almost no bezel on the sides, there seems to be a very thin bezel which holds the device in one piece, similar to what Sharp did with their Aquos Crystal smartphone. The second image allegedly shows the back side of the Nubia Z9, which looks identical to the Nubia Z9 Max, which suggests that the Nubia Z9 will also combine metal and glass as far as build materials go.
There you have it, you can expect ZTE to launch this device (and quite probably the Nubia Z9 Max and Mini) on March 26th. The Nubia Z9 will be the company’s new flagship device, and will feature top of the line specifications. According to previous leaks, this handset will sport a 5.5-inch QuadHD (2560 x 1440) display along with 3 or 4GB of RAM. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor will reportedly power on this handset, and a 16-megapixel OIS camera will be located on the back of the Nubia Z9. Android 5.0.2 Lollipop will come pre-installed here with ZTE’s custom UI on top of Google’s operating system. Does this handset seem interesting to you, would you consider purchasing it?
