ZTE's Nubia Z9 Event Invitation Is An Interesting One, A Heavy Box Filled With Interesting Stuff

We’ve talked about ZTE’s Nubia Z9 many times before. We’ve seen a lot of leaks mentioning this handset, or should I say line of devices recently. ZTE has already revealed the launch date for their Nubia Z9 line of device, the company will unveil those handsets on March 26th. ZTE has already quietly showcased the Nubia Z9 Max during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, but they did not announce it for some reason. This Chinese smartphone manufacturer is expected to announce the Nubia Z9, Nubia Z9 Mini and Nubia Z9 Max during the event on March 26th. ZTE has done something similar back in July 2014 with their Nubia Z7 line of devices.

That being said, the company has sent out the invitations for the aforementioned event, and the invitation itself is rather odd. This invitation comes in a rather big box, and aside from the written invitation, it packs a metal smartphone frame (probably hinting at the shape / dimensions of the device), a small tripod and three different camera lenses (macro, fisheye and 10x telephoto). Sounds odd? Well, it is, but really interesting at the same time. Anyhow, the lens and the tripod are made out of metal, and they feel really solid. In case you’d like to check out the content of the invitation box, check out the gallery down below, there are quite a few pictures down there.

All three of the upcoming Nubia Z9 devices are expected to feature a 1080p or QuadHD displays, though they will be different in size. The Nubia Z9 and Nubia Z9 Max will quite probably ship with a 5.5-inch panel, and the Nubia Z9 Mini will feature a smaller panel for sure. Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor will almost certainly power on all three of these devices, and Android 5.0 Lollipop will come pre-installed with ZTE’s skin on top of Google’s OS. You can also expect 3GB of RAM to ship with these handsets (perhaps 2GB of Nubia Z9 Mini), and these devices will almost certainly be made out of metal. The event will take place on March 26th, stay tuned.
